Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Communio Intel ("Company", "we", "our", "us"). These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website [your website URL] and the occupational health services we provide ("Services"). By accessing our website or using our Services, you agree to these Terms.
Please read them carefully.

1. Services offered

Communio Intel provides occupational health services, including but not limited to:
•    Pre-employment medical assessments
•    Health monitoring (e.g., audiometry, spirometry)
•    Drug and alcohol testing
•    Vaccination programs
•    Workplace injury management support
•    Wellness coaching
All services are provided in accordance with New Zealand law and industry best practices.

2. Same-day worker health checks

• Same-Day Worker Health Checks are currently only available within Auckland.
• This service is only available for those who received a notification from WorkSafe NZ, and the report must be made available for Communio Intel.

• Services eligible for same-day appointments are limited to:

  • Respirator fit tests

  • Spirometry

  • Audiometry

  • Biological health monitoring
    • Same-Day Worker Health Checks are subject to availability. Costs are the same as per Pricing and Payment; however, costs of the report will vary and will be agreed to on the day of the booking.

3. Bookings, changes, and cancellations.

  • Services must be booked in advance, either online, by phone, or by email.

  • Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment. Late cancellations or missed appointments may incur a cancellation fee.

  • Communio Intel reserves the right to reschedule appointments if necessary, with reasonable notice provided.

4. Pricing and payment.

•    All prices are quoted in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and exclusive to GST.
•    Prices are current as of 6 May 2025 and may be updated occasionally.
•    The $35 standard service fee does not include consumables, mileage, or infection control services.
•    A $5 administration fee is added to the total cost of all services.
•    A full breakdown of additional charges will be provided.

• The $35 covers a maximum of three types of physical assessments in the Fundamentals; if there are more than three physical assessments, an additional $5 per assessment is charged per person.

• Pre-employment medical checks requiring more than 5 assessments will be charged an additional $10 per assessment.

•   Payment is required per invoice terms unless otherwise agreed in writing.

5. Report selection and delivery.

  • Before assessments begin, clients must select a report type (Essentials, Upgraded, or Premium).

  • Once all assessments commence across staff, the selected report type cannot be changed.
    (Final confirmation must occur within one business day before the first assessment.)

  • Delivery timeframes for reports will be agreed in writing before assessments commence.

  • Communio Intel will make reasonable efforts to deliver reports on time and will promptly communicate any expected delays.

6. Price beat guarantee.

We offer a "Beat Any Price for the Same Service by 10%" guarantee, subject to:

  • Submission of a written quote from a comparable, New Zealand-registered provider.

  • The competitor's service is materially identical in scope and quality.

  • The quote being submitted before booking confirmation.

Communio Intel reserves the right to verify the comparability of any quote before applying the discount.

7. Privacy and confidentiality.

Protecting your personal and health information is a top priority.
All information collected is handled in accordance with:

  • The Privacy Act 2020

  • The Health Information Privacy Code 2020

  • ISO/IEC 27001 and ISO/IEC 27701 standards.

8. Client responsibilities.

  • Clients must provide accurate, complete information related to services requested.

  • Clients are responsible for following any medical advice or workplace health and safety recommendations provided.

  • Consent must be obtained where applicable for employer communications (e.g., fitness-for-work outcomes).

9. Limitations of liability.

  • Communio Intel exercises due care and diligence in delivering services but does not guarantee any specific outcomes.

  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, Communio Intel excludes liability for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from the use of our services.

10. Intellectual property.

All content, including text, graphics, logos, and service descriptions, is owned or licensed by Communio Intel.
Content may not be copied, reproduced, or distributed without prior written permission.

11. Amendments to terms.

We may update these Terms from time to time.
Revised Terms will be published on our website, and continued use of our services will be deemed acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing law.

These Terms and any disputes arising from them are governed by the laws of New Zealand.
Both parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.
